Description

This auction is for a very nice original 100 plus year old glass eyed hen mallard duck decoy by the famous Mason decoy factory out of Detroit Michigan circa 1910s. The Mason Decoy Factory was the best of the best when it came to producing quality wooden decoys over a century ago and their decoys remain very collectible. This old warrior of a hen mallard decoy is in fair structural condition with a couple of very tight checks on the back and a knot hole on one side of the body. The paint is a mix of her old original Mason paint and old working repaint. She still has her original glass eyes. She is approximately 15 1/2 inches long.
