Description

This auction is for a very nice original 100 plus year old glass eyed drake mallard duck decoy by the famous Mason decoy factory out of Detroit Michigan circa 1910s. The Mason Decoy Factory was the best of the best when it came to producing quality wooden decoys over a century ago and their decoys remain very collectible. This drake is in pretty good structural condition with a single check that runs from the breast to the top of the tail. He is in worn original paint condition with no traces of overpaint in his 100 year history. He has his original glass eyes and the head is loose so the original spiral carved dowel is still readily visible. He is approximately 16 inches long.
